Next study day: Saturday October 15th programme click here Fundamental texts in psychoanalysis Seminar of the Lacan Circle of Melbourne Jacques Lacan: Seminar 8, Transference; Le séminaire, livre VIII, Le transfert Two of Lacan’s major studies occur in the context of this year-long discussion of the transference: Plato’s Symposium and Paul Claudel’s trilogy of three plays, not so well known to English-speaking audiences, La trilogie des Coûfontaine. Relevant texts will be made available to seminar participants. Anyone interested in attending this seminar should contact the convenor and attend the first meeting on Wednesday 9 February. Note from Russell Grigg: Please note a change of venue for meetings. I will be making available a copy of Bruce Fink’s draft translation of the seminar to seminar participants.
